Nestled in the hills on the northern edge of the Ozark Highlands, Wenwood Farm Winery is a fourth generation family farm. A former dairy, Wenwood Farm produced award winning Guernsey cattle for years in its scenic creek valley. Now, this generation’s owners, Laura Neese and Thomas Kalb, produce another time-honored beverage - wine. Missouri is steeped in the winemaking tradition. Many an old farmer produced fine homemade wines when his wife was finished with the season’s jelly-making, and Gasconade County was, before the turn of the last century, the largest commercial wine-producing county in the nation. So, come share our tradition, history and beauty, the good fun of our events, and our award-winning wines as Wenwood Farm transforms from dairy to winery.
